Para las civilizaciones pre-Colombinas los edificios no eran importantes solamente por su uso, sino también por los mensajes que transmitían a sus pobladores por medio de los grabados y dibujos en sus muros. Para Ariel Rojo Design Studio ya va siendo hora de que los edificios nos vuelvan a transmitir algo.

Tzomplantli es la reinterpretación de este legendario grabado. Los muros recubiertos con estos módulos cerámicos nos podrán hablar sobre antiguas civilizaciones y la cultura contemporánea que se

funden en elegantes cráneos blancos. Diseñado y producido en México, Tzompantli es el perfecto

balance de conciencia ambiental entre el material, la mano de obra y el mercado.

For the pre-Colombian civilizations –from Mexico to Peru- buildings were not just important for the use they had, but for the message transmitted to their people through the graphics engraved or painted on the walls. For Ariel Rojo Design Studio it is about time that the walls start to tell us something again.

Tzompantli is the reinterpretation of this legendary engraving. The walls covered with these ceramic tiles can talk to us about past civilizations and contemporary culture melted into elegant white sculls. Designed and produced in Mexico, Tzompantli is also the perfect environmental awareness balance between material, hand labor and the market.
