One of the challenges for this project was to find an affordable, common element such as a block, and make it into a new product. We took the lattice trellis that were used about half past the last century, because they allowed controlled light and heat to get through. Nowadays air conditioning usage is one of the main causes of the high consumption of energy worldwide; however, the solution to this issue could be something as simple as our piece. This block can be arranged on many different structures, such as alternate or orthogonal; besides, it can be complemented with other models to form slopes, anti-transit flooring, walls, et cetera.
