Ariel Rojo Design Studio and Alfher Porcewol, a 100% Mexican business group with over 60 years of experience, present a collaboration between design and industry. For the “L3” table line, we used tubular structures and POS (porcelain-on-steel) surfaces; this last process is done by fusing steel with a vitreous coating that lends unique characteristics to this metal. A wide range of colors and tones are possible; they will endure years and years without ever fading, corroding or rusting, and the paint is lead-free. In addition to their anti-graffiti protective surfaces, these furniture pieces are highly resistant to scratches and fires. The versatility of their finishing was a key element for this proposal, since it allowed to make variations on both shades and sizes, according to customer’s needs.
