Concrete animals replicas
This project was done as a tribute to Alberto Perez Soria, a Mexican sculptor that on the 70’s designed an urban furniture line composed of concrete animals that children have enjoyed for over four decades. Inspired on this, Ariel Rojo designed a new line, redefined by contemporary tools and procedures, such as 3D modeling and prototype printing, CNC cutting and new technologies that can be applied to concrete; these give a longer service life to the product, as well as a more refined design. This set of replicas consists in four pieces that are on a 1:10 size ratio of the original pieces. Their size is perfect as part of your home decoration, for your office environment or anywhere you’d like to place them.
